How to use the Food Bank In order to use the State College Food Bank, you must reside in the State College Area School District (or live in Julian and have a 692 phone number) AND have a referral from one of the agencies listed below. Step 1: Meet with one of agencies. If you qualify, they will provide you with a written referral. Step 2: Bring the referral with you to the Food Bank during normal service hours. Effective June 15, 2009, eligible clients will generally be approved for 8 visits in a 12 month period. You are able to determine when you use those 8 visits, based on your individual needs. At times, a one-time referral can be provided for individuals with unusual situations. Emergency 24-hour assistance is available through the Community Help Centre: 814-237-5855.

This service is available 24 hours a day, every day of the year.
